This office provides visa and immigration services for clients in Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Faeroe Islands, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City.  Albanian citizens residing in Greece may also lodge their applications in Belgrade.

Credit Card​

Payments using credit card may be processed in Australian dollars (AUD). We accept MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, Diners and JCB.

When paying by a credit card you may incur a credit card surcharge, banking and currency conversion fees and you will need to accept the risk associated with any currency fluctuations.​​​​​

Prior to lodging your application, you may need to notify your bank of an upcoming foreign credit card transaction. Failure to do so may result in your transaction being declined. Without payment your application is invalid.

Credit card transactions processed in Australian dollars (AUD) are processed in Australia.​​​​​ A credit card surcharge may apply to transactions made using your credit card.

For credit card payments use the Credit Card Authorisation Form available on the Australian Embassy, Berlin website.​​​​

Bank cheque

Bank cheque will be accepted  in EUR only, please make out to the Australian Embassy Berlin.​

​Making payment in Australia

Fees may be paid​ at any of our offi​ces in Australia. Once the fee has been paid, you will need to provide a copy of the receipt with your application.​​​

Citizenship

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Applications for Citizenship by Descent are processed at the Australian High Commission in London.

Applications for Australian citizenship general eligibility and other situations, and applications to resume or renounce (give up) Australian citizenship should be lodged at the Canberra Visa and Citizenship office in the Australian Capital Territory.

Residents: Apply in person to the street address above or online.
Non-residents: Apply by post to the postal address above.
Provide: A written request including personal details and your mother’s and father’s full name, and a valid passport or ID card.
If you are applying from outside Malta provide a copy of a valid passport bio data page, and evidence of fee payment.
Fee: 2.80 Euros
Processing time: ‘While you wait’ if you are applying in person, otherwise approximately one week (take into account additional time needed for posting the certificate).
Note: A certificate may be collected on your behalf if you live outside Malta. You will need to give a letter of authorisation and a copy of your passport to that person (and they will need to provide ID).
