Biometrics are collected at an Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) or an Australian Biometrics Collection Centre (ABCC) when an application is lodged in one of the countries listed below:​

Clients lodging visa applications in a country listed above, regardless of nationality, need to provide their biometrics. If you have travelled to Australia without providing your biometrics in the country in which you lodged, you must contact the immigration office processing your application to make suitable arrangements.
