Create an organisation ImmiAccount

Organisations (including Registered Migration Agents, education agents, authorised e-Lodgement users and sponsoring companies) can create an organisation ImmiAccount to access the following services:

  • Online Lodgement (including sponsorship, nomination, visa and citizenship applications)
  • Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) for organisations
  • Organisation Account Administration
  • LEGENDcom.

If you are a new user, you will first need to create an account.

On the ‘Create an ImmiAccount’ page select the Create ImmiAccount radio button. On the ‘Services Required’ page, select Organisation (including agents) and any other relevant options.

It is important that you provide a valid email address, make a note of your username and password and remember the exact answers you provide to the secret questions that you select. You will need to answer these questions if you forget your password.

Note: When you have submitted the form you will be presented with a reference number. Please make a record of this number should you need to follow up with your access request.

If you have already created an account, you can request access to additional services from within your ImmiAccount.

ImmiAccount services and access types

The table below highlights the services and access types that organisations can request. Your organisation's business requirement will determine the access provided.

  • Must have a valid Migration Agent Registration Number (MARN)
  • Organisations in Australia must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
Other Organisation User
  • Online lodgement
  • Assign applications within your organisation and manage pre-fill data for applications
  • Available to companies that sponsor visa applicants to work in Australia and other organisations that provide visa services
  • Organisations in Australia must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Organisations outside Australia should use the registered organisation number relevant for their country
Education Agent
  • Online lodgement for Assessment Level two - three student visa applications
  • Available to Education Agents in China, India, Indonesia and Thailand only
  • Access to this service is limited and only available on approval by the relevant Australian Immigration Office overseas
Authorised e-Lodgement User
VEVO VEVO Client Groups and Categories
  • Check the status or entitlements of visa holders
  • Available to registered Australian organisations including RMAs, employers, labour suppliers, education providers, financial institutions and government agencies
  • Must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Service standard: two working days
    Note: If you have requested access to an additional service, the service standard may be longer
Organisation Account AdministrationOrganisation Account Administrator
  • Create and manage organisation user accounts
  • Approve new users wanting to join the organisation
  • Reset passwords for users within their organisation
LEGENDcom LEGENDcom
  • Access LEGENDcom, an electronic database of Migration and Citizenship legislation and policy documents
  • Available on a subscription basis

After you have submitted access request

Access to organisation services will be approved by an Organisation Account Administrator (OAA) within the nominated organisation and/or the department.

You can check the status of your request in ImmiAccount by clicking on the Manage Account menu at the top right of screen and selecting the ‘Request access’ tab. Details of the OAA(s) in your organisation are available from the 'Account details' tab.

The Department service standard for processing most access requests is five working days. You will be notified of the decision by email
