Our office in Amman manages visa and citizenship services for clients in Jordan, Iraq and Syria.

It has a Service Delivery Partner (SDP) agreement with TLScontact to provide Australian visa lodgement and biometric collection services in Jordan through an Australian Visa Application Centre.

The SDP is contracted by us to provide Australian visa application services, including:

  • pre-lodgement enquiries
  • visa application submission
  • biometrics collection.

These services incur a fee in addition to the visa application charge.​

The SDP can provide the information you need to utilise these services.

Citizen residents: Apply at the Ministry of Justice
Documents required:

  • Jordanian national identity card (if the applicant does not have an ID card they are required to present a police report confirming that the lost ID has been reported – only then will a copy of the passport be accepted in lieu of the ID card)
  • application form.

If unable to apply in person:

  • signed proxy (a legal document authorising a third party to act on the applicant’s behalf witnessed by two witnesses)
  • copy of the applicant’s passport
  • application form.

Non-citizen residents: Apply at the Ministry of Justice.

Citizen non-residents: Apply to any Jordanian embassy abroad.

  • Jordanian national identity card

  • copy of passport with copy of exit stamp from Jordan
  • application form.

Processing time:

  • Same day for applications lodged in Jordan in person.
  • For applicants outside of Jordan, no specific timeframe as this depends on individual circumstances.
