You and your children who are applying for the visa with you must meet our health requirement.
Usually, members of your family unit who are not applying with you also need to meet the requirement.
So that we can decide if you meet this requirement, you need to undertake health checks.
You can have health checks before you apply, but they are only valid for one year. If your visa takes longer than a year to process you will need to have, and pay for, the checks again.
We recommend that you wait for us to contact you about the checks.
You might not need to have a health checks if you hold a Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300). We will let you know if you need any checks.
More information is available about the health requirement.
